PCG-2024 Conference

The 2025 edition marks the ninth installment of the International Scientific and Practical Conference on Energy Production, Conservation, and Efficiency (PCG-EPCE-2025), held as a special edition of the International Conference Physical and Chemical Geotechnologies. The conference is a significant event dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Dnipro University of Technology and the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Management at AGH University of Krakow.

Organizers of the Conference: Gennadiy Pivnyak (Chairman); Marek Dudek (Vice-Chairman); Roman Dychkovskyi (Vice-Chairman); Yurii Papaika (Secretary);
Members of the Scientific Committee: Oleksandr Aziukovskyi, Dariusz Sala, Yurii Papaika, Dariusz Cichoń, Alla Polyanska, Ievgen Koshelenko, Yuliya Pazynich

The conference continues its tradition of fostering international collaboration, with a particular focus on innovations in sustainable energy production, efficient energy conservation strategies, and the enhancement of energy system performance. It features diverse thematic sessions, including advanced technologies in energy production, renewable energy applications, and energy security.

The conference was held on April 2–4, 2025 . Given the current circumstances in Ukraine, it was conducted in a hybrid format , offering both online and on-site participation.

Conference Scope:

  • Product Management in Fuel and Energy Complex Systems
  • Innovations in the Energy and Fuel-Energy Sector
  • Environmental Protection and Ecological Issues in the Fuel and Energy Sector
  • Legal, Economic, Social, and Market Issues in Energy and Resource Extraction
  • Energy Security and Efficiency, Electromagnetic Compatibility
  • Intelligent Power Systems and Networks, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning
  • Mechatronic and Robotic Complexes and Equipment
  • Energy Conversion and Thermal Power Engineering

Based on the conference scope, 19 papers were selected for publication from presentations delivered at the conference, following the peer-review process . These papers address key advancements and challenges in the energy and mining sectors.
