Smart Monitoring of Local Renewable Energy Systems

Abstract

The growing integration of renewable energy sources into local electricity systems requires advanced monitoring solutions to ensure operational reliability, energy efficiency, and system stability. This study focuses on the development and analysis of a smart monitoring framework for local renewable energy systems, combining real-time data acquisition, intelligent data processing, and decision-support functionalities. The proposed approach enables continuous monitoring of key electrical and operational parameters, including power generation, consumption profiles, system efficiency, and fault conditions. By integrating digital sensors, communication technologies, and intelligent analytical tools, the monitoring system supports early detection of abnormal operating states and facilitates optimized energy management. The results demonstrate that smart monitoring significantly enhances system transparency, improves operational control, and contributes to the reliable and efficient operation of decentralized renewable energy systems. The proposed solution can be effectively applied in local energy networks, microgrids, and autonomous power supply systems based on renewable energy sources.
