Abstract
The protection of underground steel pipelines from corrosion remains a critical challenge in modern infrastructure maintenance. The development of protective potential, particularly in the context of modern converter technologies, is essential for ensuring pipeline longevity and operational reliability. This study examines the latest advancements in cathodic protection systems, electrochemical conversion processes, and material innovations that enhance the protective properties of steel pipelines. Special attention is given to the integration of modern converter technologies that optimize electrical parameters, improve energy efficiency, and minimize environmental impact. The research also explores the influence of soil conditions, coating materials, and external interference factors on the effectiveness of corrosion protection strategies. Experimental and simulation-based analyses are conducted to evaluate the efficiency of various protective systems approaches. The findings contribute to the development of improved pipeline protection methodologies, ensuring sustainable operation and reducing maintenance costs.
