Determining the parameters of brown coal mass processing using different separation methods

Abstract

The analysis of the chemical composition of brown coal ash and coal clays is given. It is established that the principle of action in electric concentration is determined by the ratio between the electrical and mechanical forces (gravitational force, centrifugal force, and resistance force of the medium, molecular adhesion forces of the particles with each other and with electrodes) acting on them. A higher calorific value of the concentrate is about 7200-7500 kcal/kg per absolutely dry matter. The operating heat of combustion of the concentrate of the heat-treated brown coal is expected at the level of 4500-5300 kcal/kg depending on other parameters of the coal.
