Development of distribution forecast toxic and potential toxic elements in the main coal seams of the Krasnoarmiyskiy geological and industrial area of Donbas.
Classify the main coal seams using cluster analysis. The studies were carried out through construction dendrograms of clustering. On the base of dendrograms the main coal seams of the Krasnoarmiyskiy geological and industrial area is confidently divided into groups.
Possibility of a long-term forecast of toxic and potential toxic elements in the main coal seams has been proposed. In accordance with dendrograms 38 coal seams ( g12н, h1н, h4, h6, h8, h10, h101, k5н, k5, k5в, k6, k7, k71, k82, k8, l1, l21, l3, l3в+н, l3в, l4, l4в, l5, l51, l6, l7н, l7, l7в, l8н, l8, l81, m2, m3н, m3, m40, m42, m61, m62) of Middle Carboniferous period are divided into seven groups. Their weighted averages of toxic and potential toxic elements content significantly different between individual clusters. They can be interpreted in terminology of qualitative assessment as: abnormally low, low, below the average, average, above the average, high value, abnormally high. Implementation of such way makes it possible to visually compare these multiscale indicators of coal seams along coal-bearing section. Cluster analysis results by which received classification of coal seams by the content of toxic and potentially toxic elements clearly visualize the level of their accumulation.
The research was performed as part of the state budget research work of the Dnipro University of Technology (state registration number No. 0112U004196).
